We have just released a new version of an old favourite Majaroni stamp. The old Majaroni stamps are the first we made and their quality cannot be compared to what Tingtura Design produce today. This is why we are releasing these new “best of Majaroni” stamps using old images but improving the quality a LOT (through some high tech computer wizarding Adobe-fu).

Fairy with flower is first to hit the shelves.

To celebrate this first “best of Majaroni” stamp we offer you some blog candy :)

What you need to do is:

- Show the image below in your blog

- Link back to our blog

- Comment on this post with a link to your blog and tell us which stamp from the old Majaroni Fairytale sets you would like to see as a new “best of” stamp.

Do this before midnight sunday 26th of july and you might win the lottery of ALL FIVE brand new stamps from last week (one lottery ticket per person).

Wait? Was there more new stamps than the Fairy? Four new Urban stamps by Niklas Mårdby of course :) Let me show you how much fun you can have with them.

Bienvenue means Welcome in french. This card was sent to our first french retailer as a little welcome to the growing Tingtura family.

On this card I’ve used the new version of Fairy with flower. The cute fairy is colored with Copics. The new stamps used are Splatter Texture Rectangle (also available as circle), Star Texture Rectangle and Star Texture Circle. These new Urban stamps are so much fun to play with! I’ve also used some old favourites: Dotted Circle Small (the circle stamps fits perfectly on your punched Retro Flowers!), Butterfly, Grunge Edge, Word Texture and Heart full of Grunge. The butterfly is embossed with lovely Sweet Heart. I also like our new grey drops that fit the grungy flowers.

I hope you like all our new stamps and good luck in the blog candy lottery! :D

With this post we welcome our newest member of our DesignTeam, Katrin Höglund!

Katrin has been around for a while helping us with ideas, at fairs and has been very eager to participate in our contests and other challenges. But now she´s taken it to the next level and has become a part of our wonderful DesignTeam.

Name: Katrin Höglund (Mårdby was my maiden name, like some other Tingtura people, haha)
City: Gothenburg
Profession: High school teacher in Swedish and English
When did you start to scrap: I believe scrapbooking has always been in my life. When I was little my mom did it for me, and I followed on when I was 12 years old. I started collecting scrapbooking supplies in the 90ies, but I didn’t start scrapping the way I do now untill my children were born (2004).I joined the Swedish scrapbooking world last summer and it was then that I became the dedicated, crazy scrapper I am now! :D
What colours do you prefer: RED is always right! It is amazing how that colour will go with and enhance everything!
What do you prefer to create: Layouts! Mostly about the kids…
What are your favourite top three stamps right now: Miscellaneous Urban Sky circles (they’re completely addictive!), journaling set #1 and 2 (what, was I supposed to pick only three and not three sets?? Impossible!)
What do you always use: Tingtura stamps, of course ;)
What do you never use: Old die-cuts and stickers
What do you use to colour your stamp motives: Promarkers
Tell us something amusing about yourself: I give speed birth (child number two entered the world on our living room floor). I have an unfailing sure eye. I can Never keep it short when writing and am always pry to decision agony.
What day do you blog: I help out with the Monday sketch

These are Katrins favorite layouts:

As you can see our blog has a new look. What really is the big change is that we have moved from one blog tool to another much better on (wordpress!). You can still read the old blog (see link in menu to the right) and all the material in the old blog will in time be moved to this new one.

As you also can see, the new blog uses the same URL as the old. What is different though is that we now have a different RSS-feed, so if you subscribed the old blog you will need to subscribe to this new feed instead.
