This weeks stamps are Girl eating melon, Dots, Swirl 4 and Swirl 2. You will find that they have a lower price than usual in the webshop. You don’t need to wait for a personal email confirmation before paying.

Here are a few examples of how to use these stamps.

I’ve used Dots on the background with a white stamp pad. I’ve also smudged some distress ink onto the white dots around the photo and used the same pad to stamp some swirls. Under the purple flower you see a Swirl 2 as well. Girl eating melon is colored with ProMarkers.

Girl eating melon colored with ProMarkers also on the card. This time the Dots are stamped in a color that match the paper to blend in more.

Here is the sketch of the week! I hope it will inspire.

Here is an LO I’ve made using the sketch.

I’ve used the Bubbly journaling spot, Att minnas (swedish text stamp) and Dotted circle.

A pretty simple card with Hugging Couple colored with distress ink.

Have you been inspired by the sketch? Send us a photo of your creation to and you might end up seeing it here in the blog! :)

It feels like I’m in a flow right now! I’ve created lots of things the last few days. A Cyber Crop and all it’s challenges has helped kick start me of course :D

Here are a few of my creations:

I’ve used lots of Urban stamps but also stamps from Filiona, Majaroni and Maja’s Friends.

This weeks article on sale is The Pirate Captain, and I can’t say it enough - it is my ultimate favourite! It is so usable and that it goes well with skulls is another plus in my eyes. I like that it is so full of detail, and that you don’t see all of it. It is as if you’ve taken a picture where you left part of the motif out on purpose, and it is very catchy.

The stamped image is coloured with Promarkers and highlighted with white Gelly Roll pen. The background too is colored with Promarkers. I usually just leave the background white, but Kicki has inspired me here - even though I have a lot to learn before mine are as pretty as hers.

It was difficult to choose texting on this card, but after some googling, “Ahoy” was the obvious choice. Is there any better pirate word? The letters are cut out with the silhouette and then I put diamond glaze on. The flags are also cut out with the same machine. The Urban stamp Swirl is in the background.

In just a few days, Valentine is here! I’m planning on sending cards to friends and beloved ones just to show them that I think of them and I’m happy they’re in my life. You do this far too seldom, and I think it’s great to have a special day to remind me of this.

Today I will show you one of the cards I’ll send and the stamped image is my new love - Robot with heart! It was love at first sight - the robot really inspires me! I can guarantee that you will se lots of the robot on my cards in the future.

The robot is fastened with two coins and a 3D foam square, which allows the robot to move about in the slit that I cut out using my paper trimmer and craft knife. In the background I’ve used Wavy Beam. The robot is coloured with Promarkers, as always nowadays. You wouldn’t believe that I gave away the first ones I bought because I didn’t like them.

I would love to see what pretty things you create for Valentine’s! Please leave a comment with a link to your blog so we can have a look.

Today it’s time for me to show you a card. I usually don’t use patterned paper as base for my cards, but I did today, and I like the effect it gives the card. To use a paper with skulls was an obvious choice. Partly because I think they’re cool, partly because I decided to use Tough girl. I like Tough girl since she is so full of detail with the studded bracelet and the skull necklace. Skulls are just right now, aren’t they? To heighten the tough theme even more I cut a skull with my silhouette and used for emebellishment. The twig is also cut using the silhouette.

We have picked out a few stamps to put on sale this week too. It is a couple of Maja’s Friends stamps: Boy with Fishing Pole, Pier, Tree trunk, Sun rays och Small, Medium and Large Cloud. All these are much fun to use together and to build your own small scenes.

Here’s a card with all of this weeks stamps except the tree trunk. I’ve used distress ink to color with. The ocean is done with a mask, spunge and distress pad. The sky is done with distress too. The fishing boy is cut out and glued to the background together with some details.

The title for this one is “Kalas i shogen” which means “Birthday party in the Forest”. It’s my father-in-law who loves the outdoors and we always celebrate him out in the woods. So this time the fishing boy became a boy with a sausage on a stick to barbeque over the fire! This time I’ve used ProMarkers to color. Notive that his feet got shoe laces so I could color them as boots. More suitable for the outdoor. I’ve also used the small butterfly from Maja’s Friends and the Scallop Spot Rectangle Large.

All the stamps can be found on the fron page of the web shop. Price is already reduced so you don’t ned to wait for a personal confirmation before paying.

Hope you like ‘em!

Monday means new sketch!

This one is an old one from my sketch book. I hope it will inspire you.

I’ve also made a card and LO inspired by the sketch.

I turned the sketch and interpreted it a little different for the card. I used the stamps Mother and sleeping baby, Prinsessa (swedish text) and one of the small words (swedish). I colored the mother and child with distress ink and the eyes got a little black Sakura Glaze.

On the layout I used Large Circle and Circle Medium from Urban Sky, Rectangle Journalingspot from Journaling #2 and the square från Swirls #1. If you want to see more photos of how the LO was made then hop over to one of Swedens largest blogs caled Scrappizbloggen were I was invited to write a little about how my creation process looks like. If you don’t speak swedish then just look at the photos :)
